                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1928
                   HAMILL ROAD BEING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF HAMILL
                   ROAD AND SOUTHWEST OF HIGHWAY 153, FROM R-1
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE AND M-1 MANUFACTURING ZONE TO
                   C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1928 Hamill Road being
                on the south side of Hamill Road and southwest of
                Highway 153.  A tract of land identified by deed
                book 4625, page 594; deed book 1966, page 862,
                ROHC.  Tax Map 110I-J-21.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone and M-1 Manufacturing Zone to C-2
         Convenience Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
